The Whisper 200 boasts twice the swept
area, providing double the potential energy as compared to the Whipser
100. Big
brother to the Whipser 100, the Whisper Whipser 200 features a 10'
(3.1m) rotor
diameter with an 80 sq. ft. swept area that provides the user with
greater output at low wind speeds, producing 193 kwh/month in a 12 mph
(5.4 m/s) average wind speed.
The Whipser 200 also incorporates a permanent
magnet alternator driven by an advanced airfoil able to capture the
most energy in its class as compared to competitive wind turbines.
