The perfect solution for your occasional lighting needs for any
remote structure such as; sheds, barns, workshops and garages. These
solar powered packages combine our high efficiency LED lights with a
solar battery charging system for a 100% renewable energy solution. Our
kits are easy to install and can save you hundreds of dollars in permit
fees and electrician costs for running AC power to your shed. The basic
package (RC45001) comes with all the major components needed for a
complete system; 20 Watt solar panel, high brightness LED ceiling
light, battery charge controller with on/off switch, 12 V battery, wire
and complete installation kit. Larger systems can be custom configured
by starting with one of our solar battery charging kits (RC44001, 40W
or RC44002, 60W) and adding 1 or more LED light fixtures (RC33001) and
then add a 12 V deep cycle battery of your choice.
The Solectric™ Shed-Light Kit (RC45001) comes with:
- One 20 Watt STC, Mono-Crystalline PV solar panel: 26" x 12" x 1".
- One LED light fixtures: 420 lumens typical at 7 watts power,
10.5"D x 1.8" surface mount.
- Charge Controller: 5 Amp, high efficiency PWM charging with
boost,
recovery and float modes. Load control with over discharge protection.
- Battery: 12V, 7 AH Sealed Lead Acid. 2 Amp max discharge rate.
- Installation Kit: 4 brackets, 33' of 18ga wire, plus all
necessary hardware and wire nuts.
