These meters read DC amps from
a wire that is placed in the slot frame
on the rear of the meter case. No electrical connection is needed. The
30 amp meter will work with wires up to 8 gauge. The dual range meter
has a 75 amp scale and a 600 amp scale. This amp meter will work with
wire up to 2/0 gauge.
